The taper you get is a function of the cut speed. The worst taper you will get will be equal to maximum kerf width at the top (example: 0.44mm) and 0.0mm at the bottom. As you slow down the taper will be reduced until you get parallel sides. Most tapers you see on good quality cuts are 0.076mm~0.102mm on a side.

Cut parts are within 0.051mm (.002")~0.254 mm (.010") accurate. The accuracy you get will depend on the accuracy of the machine, part size and part thickness.

The kerf width depends on the thickness of the material being cut and the size of the orifice used. Generally the kerf for pure waterjet is between 0.1mm and 1.1mm, and the kerf for abrasive waterjet between 0.8mm and 1.8mm. The kerf will get larger as the mixing tube wears.
